The ryokan is in Taito, Tokyo, a 10-minute walk from Sensō-Ji Temple and Kaminarimon Gate. Nearby attractions include Tokyo Skytree (1 km), Kappabashi-dori (1.5 km), and Tsukiji Market (6 km). The area features Edo kiriko glassmakers and traditional terraced houses.

Services & Amenities

A 24-hour front desk assists with luggage storage and concierge services. High-speed WiFi covers the property. The shared lounge and terrace provide spaces to relax. Security features include a monitored system.

Unique Ryokan Experience

Unlike western-style hotels, Prostyle Ryokan immerses guests in Japanese traditions, from tatami-floored rooms to river-view terraces. Some suites feature private open-air baths. Situated near historic crafts and temples, the ryokan blends local heritage with modern amenities.

“In Asakusa, this property struck me as a particularly well-considered blend of modern design and neighborhood atmosphere, moments from temples yet utterly up-to-date. I was impressed by the emphasis on regional delicacies, as well as cultural immersion through local crafts, all set within rooms balancing modern technology and pure comfort. For anyone seeking an authentic, yet refined, Tokyo experience, it merits serious consideration.”
